Meet The Team

A qualified teacher who has worked in mainstream schools as both a SENDCo and a Safeguarding Lead for over 16 years, Clare has extensive experience working with children whose cognitive development has been impaired due to adverse experiences. Working closely with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Advisory teachers, she develops support programmes to help children overcome barriers to learning and emotional growth.

Amy works with children to help develop their communication and social interaction skills. Using an evidence-based practice based on the latest research, Amy identifies problem areas that inhibit a child’s functional skills and develops strategies to help students improve their ability to communicate with others and use skills such as problem solving and decision making.

Beccy worked as a family support worker at Barnardo’s before training to become an occupational therapist. Since then she has delivered services in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Bath, Bristol, and South Devon. Her interests lie in understanding how adverse childhood experiences can impact a child’s neurological and physical development, and how that in turn impacts their mental health and resilience.
